TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All advertisements are placed and all orders are accepted subject to the TERMS AND CONDITIONS as hereinafter set out and the advertiser is deemed to have knowledge of and be bound by such TERMS AND CONDITIONS. These TERMS AND CONDITIONS are exclusively for www.dawnclassified.com and cannot be applied by the advertiser in any order for advertising to any other publication published by Pakistan Herald Publications (Pvt.) Ltd (PHPL).

The submission of an advertisement constitutes a warranty by the advertiser that it has all necessary authorities and permissions for the insertion(s) thereof and that the advertisement or any part thereof or the placement of the advertisement does not in anyway contravene, violate or constitute a breach of any laws of Pakistan or any restrictions or prohibitions imposed by the relevant government authorities or otherwise and the advertiser shall indemnify PHPL for all losses or harm suffered by it on account of such breach.

Advertisements booked online shall be subject to subsequent technical checks and reviewed in terms of policy by PHPL prior to publication. Advertisers are requested to please ensure use of appropriate and standard grammatical form of English language in advertisement content and conform to the standard appliance of hyphenation, spell-checks, spacing & punctuation in order to prevent any word-count discrepancies. PHPL reserves the right to reject any advertisement if policy and/or technical reasons are cited without assigning any reasons therefore. The management shall in such cases remain only liable for a refund against any such transaction.

While every care will be taken to place the advertisement but PHPL shall not be held responsible for any inadvertent lapse in this regard resulting in either non-placement or miss-placement of the advertisement due to technical reasons or unforeseen circumstances and no claim for consequential damages will be entertained on this account.

Any claim for incorrect placement of the advertisement should be intimated by sending email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it within 3 days of the placement of the advertisement along with accurate reference of the advertisement. In case the claim is accepted by PHPL, such advertisement would be made-good only through a repeat placement at the convenience of PHPL.

For alteration and / or cancellations of the advertisement, at least 24 hours’ notice within working hours is required to be sent by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . In case of an advertisement for Monday’s issue, this information should be sent by Friday within working hours.

7.

The advertiser shall indemnify and keep indemnified PHPL in respect of all loss, damage, costs and expenses including legal fees arising directly or indirectly from the placement of an advertisement on instruction from the advertiser.

Advertisements might not be published as they appear, but the content will remain same. Classified Advertisements submitted for publication in DAWN must be submitted THREE (03) WORKING days prior to the date of publication. Advertisements submitted later than the period specified above shall not be accepted.
